Hello there!
Welcome to my portfolio, my name is Juan Ángel and I’m a concept artist with experience creating art for films, videogames and tv shows. I am a professional graphic designer and I have an MFA in game design with a strong emphasis on concept art. My main focus is character and creature design and the development of concepts. I am accomplished in themes such as horror, fantasy and science fiction as well as realistic portrait painting. I am also an art instructor and have been teaching art fundamentals such as color theory, line quality control and rythm, human anatomy, gesture drawing, composition and design for years.
My experience as a freelance concept artist, graphic designer and teacher has given me the tools to create solid and consistent art that inspires people and my experience as a philosophy student has instilled in me a passion for reading, writing and analysis.
